Christina Baldwin, pioneer, writer, storycatcher.

Pioneering in the renaissance of journal writing, Christina Baldwin wrote two definitive books on the subject: One to One, Self-Understanding through Journal Writing, and Life’s Companion, Journal Writing as a Spiritual Practice. In 1994, her belief in the power of story, combined with the social container of circle, led her to found PeerSpirit, Inc. with Ann Linnea. Baldwin and Linnea spent the next 25 years traveling internationally to train participants and facilitators in the modern application of circle practice. She is the author of  Calling the Circle, the First and Future Culture, and The Circle Way, A Leader in Every Chair (with Linnea). She also wrote, The Seven Whispers, Spiritual Practice for Times Like These and Storycatcher, Making Sense of your Life through the Power and Practice of Story. In 2016, Christina and Ann handed their circle work to next generation trainers: www.thecircleway.net. From the home she shares with Ann Linnea in Washington state, she Zooms globally and is available for podcasts, video interviews, and emeritus mentoring in her bodies of work.

Ann Linnea, mentor, guide, writer.

Ann is a writer and educator with decades of experience serving the art of  relationship with Nature and people. In 1991, Ann co-authored the award-winning Teaching Kids to Love the Earth. In 1992, she became the first woman to circumnavigate Lake Superior by sea kayak and wrote Deep Water Passage, to describe this journey. In 2010 she co-authored The Circle Way: A Leader in Every Chair with Christina Baldwin as a legacy contribution to two decades of pioneering circle work. Also published in 2010, is her full color Keepers of the Trees—A Guide to Re-Greening North America, the result of decades of devotion to making natural history accessible through fascinating stories.
