Collaborations
A bit of story--
In 2000, PeerSpirit joined visionary business author, Margaret Wheatley, and the Berkana Institute to co-develop a global initiative to support emerging local leaders. What came to be called From the Four Directions used PeerSpirit Circle Process as its core methodology and introduced a network of people to each other that has changed the course of life work among dozens of colleagues and friends.
Berkana Institute is now the host of a series of Learning Exchanges that grew out of the F4D experiment. Circle Process and our hearts are linked to colleagues at work in profound collaborations around the world.
PeerSpirit has remained most consistently involved in the Berkana story through an evolutionary pattern that emerged in 2003 in the UK and started in the US in January 2004: The Art of Hosting Conversations that Matter. In this work, circle forms a core methodology out of which Open Space, World Café and Appreciative Inquiry are taught. AoH is unleashing a connected global experience of held space for conversation and people with the courage to call that space into their work and community lives.
In January 2008, Art of Hosting returned to Whidbey Island, and quickly filled to capacity. We will announce here when either one of us is directly involved in an event, and invite you to check the website www.artofhosting.org for offerings throughout the year and throughout the world.
PeerSpirit is also providing the group process for Meg Wheatley's Women's Leadership Revival Tour through the co-development of the Women's Circle Starter Kits.
